Five Shortcuts to Keep in Mind

Here you will find some very useful shortcuts that you can use throughout your term of using Excel. Each shortcut has been given for each day of the weekday. Read ahead and find out more about these helpful shortcuts.

ALT + M N (MONDAY)

This shortcut will open the name manager. It is a very handy tool, especially if you have a large range of names and would like to edit them. It is a sequence shortcut, meaning that you will press ALT and M at the same time, let go of the both of those keys, and then press the N key.

CTRL + T (TUESDAY)

This tool will create a table from the data in the cells within a matter of seconds saving you the trouble and time.

CTRL + W (WEDNESDAY)

This shortcut will shut down the current open workbook, but keep your Excel window open.

ALT + T O (THURSDAY)

This shortcut will open up all the Excel options. It is helpful and very simple to remember.

CTRL F (FRIDAY)

CTRL F will basically help you locate the pieces of information you need to find in the current workbook. You can even use CTRL + H if you would like to conduct a find replace in the window.

CTRL + S (FOR THE WEEKENDS)

This shortcut will save all of your work before you shut down your computer, so do not forget to use this special shortcut before you take the day off from work.
